Preparing the natural nails is the most important step to ensure proper adhesion. Use these steps for all your Versatility Gel nail applications,
- Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
- Shape the natural nails as desired.
- Use the ASP Pterygium Remover & Spoon Pusher or an ASP Birchwood Stick to push back the cuticles so there is no cuticle or dry skin attached to the nail plate.
- Gently buff the surface of all nails with an 180-grit file or 150-grit buffer to remove the natural shine completely.
- Use a lint free cloth or pad with the ASP 2-n-1 Dehydrator & Cleansing Wipe to thoroughly clean the nails of any dust or debris. The entire nail surface should appear a dull chalky white.
- Apply ASP Bonder first, then either ASP Nail Primer or ASP Acidless Primer on the entire natural nail.
- Proceed with your ASP Versatility Gel nail application of choice.
Pro Tip: When doing your own nails, it’s best to complete one hand entirely then begin on the other.
